Illegal Drugs & STD's

There will be a 7th grade class of 20 students logging in on Thursday, April 1 from 11:15 - 11:45am. An 8th grade class of 24 students will also be logging in the same day from 12:25 - 1pm. Both classes will need two sources on illegal drugs and STD's.

There are 3 classes of 4th graders conducting research on famous historical Americans. Some of the people they need information on are Susan B. Anthony, Clara Barton, George Washington Carver, Eleanor Roosevelt, Helen Keller, and William Penn. They will be visiting on the following days:

Natural Disasters

There will be three 8th grade classes of 15 students each, logging in on the following days:

Tues at 9:20am
Wednesday at 8:00am - 9:00am and 9:10am to 10:30am

They are looking for information of how to deal with (community efforts, safeguards), and preparing for a natural disaster such as a mudslide, tsunami, fire, volcano, earthquake, hurricane, flood, and avalanche.

Middle school students will be logging in for photographer resources. Their assignment is to construct a timeline of a photographer's life and include 5 personal, 5 art related and 5 history related events.

They will be visiting on the following dates:

The Bad Old Days - Class Visit

Middle school students will be visiting either Wed. 12/9 or Thurs. 12/10 at
about 8:30 am.

Their assignment is to look at the hoax email "The Bad Old Days" about the
middle ages. They need to use an etymology dictionary or some other site to
look up all the phrase origins from the hoax email.

Scientists - Class Visit

7th and 8th grade students are researching biographies about scientists.
They will be visiting April 8th, 2009 from 11:00 am to 12:30pm EST.

The 7th grade consists of 30 students and will visit from 11:00 to 11:50.

The 8th grade class has 20 students and will visit from 12:00-12:30.
